Olamide's love for fashion started very early. As a child, she asked for jewelry and clothes instead of dolls or video games. By high school, she had turned her family's basement into her own art studio, spending hours experimenting with thrifted pieces and creating new outfits from what she already had. Fashion to her is a way to express personality.

Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, Olamide also knew she wanted to build something of her own. She studies international business at George Washington University, a decision that allowed her to explore the relationship between business, culture, and creativity.

Her journey took her to Rome, Italy, where she found inspiration in the city's music, nightlife, and expressive street culture. The following year, she moved to Beijing, China, where a new perspective on fashion sparked an idea. Surrounded by an ever-evolving fashion scene and the creativity behind the designs being produced and distributed around the world, she began imagining what it would look like to create a fashion space of her own.

That idea became SwagFabricated.
